My thanks
As the dust begins to settle on the Election 2026, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to my Proposer Dr John Le Gresley and my nine Seconders who showed faith in me. Also to my very active supporters; Chris, Sharon, Don, Gerard, my son Harry – who was with me every step of the way – to my friends and family who offered me encouragement and of course to you, the voters of Grouville & St Martin who gave me an overwhelming 2,379 of your votes – thank you.
I would also like to offer my appreciation to all the Candidates who have the courage to rise above the parapet and offer their service to the Island. It is not an easy thing to do, but I know everyone who I have met along the way has done so with the very best of intentions. Whether successful or not, you should be very proud and have gained an extraordinary experience and many friends along the way.
