Jersey’s voice in New Jersey
In the June 2025 edition of New Jersey Municipalities magazine, the Minister for International Development Carolyn Labey shared how Jersey is stepping onto the global stage and pursuing further ties with the US.
The special feature follows the Minister’s first visit to New Jersey, where meetings with the Mayor of Trenton, NJ Governor Phil Murphy, state representatives and Princeton University helped to deepen commercial, cultural, and social bonds with our American colleagues.
One area discussed at Princeton was the university’s International Internship Programme, which offers opportunities for students in over 50 countries in a wide range of industries. Businesses in Jersey who could be prepared to host students from Princeton in 2026 and beyond can find out more information via the link below.
The Government of Jersey continues to seek opportunities for further collaboration with New Jersey for the benefit of residents on both sides of the Atlantic.
