Last Thursday, the 12th December, we were delighted to celebrate the launch of Jersey Connections, the first in a series of in-person events bringing together our Jersey diaspora.

Hosted by Minister Carolyn Labey at the Army and Navy Club in London, the event brought together Jersey diaspora from all backgrounds: from university students, artists, musicians, and professionals working across industries from finance to fashion. We also enjoyed a fantastic performance by Jersey rapper and spoken-word poet Christian Foley.

We’ve received some great feedback from attendees on ideas for future events and we’d love to hear from you too! Please feel free to respond to this email with any suggestions for events or ways we can build on the Jersey Connections platform.

Keep an eye out for our emails about upcoming events and the first edition of our newsletter, which will be out in the New Year.

Thank you for being part of this growing community.

Jersey Connections is part of the new Island Identity Project. We encourage anyone interested to sign up for future events, and to get involved. Anyone with a Jersey Connection can join our global network to encourage economic, cultural and social opportunities and events.

Have a wonderful festive period, and we look forward to reconnecting in the New Year!
