LES GROUVELLES
A Grouville Community and Networking group for Women in this Parish.

In April we welcomed the Grouville raised, young and dynamic entrepreneur, Fisher, retail owner and restaurant Director Gabby Mason to speak to us about the fishing community, the Jersey Fishing Fleet, working in what is perceived as a man’s industry and her exciting new additional venture, as Director of the Driftwood Cafe at Archirondel.
It was also an opportunity to set out our Summer Activities programme which includes a Jazz evening with supper, a day out to Hamptonne, as well as our regular activities and Warblers gigs. We also organised a Tour of the States Assembly to mark the 4th Anniversary of Les Grouvelles and therefore 104 years since women got the vote in Jersey, from which Les Grouvelles was formed and which creates our lasting legacy to mark that momentous the occasion.
