Future Economy Programme Update
On the eve of Liberation Day and with Jersey Overseas Aid, I hosted a public forum at Maritime Museum with the British Red Cross where we discussed ways of giving humanitarian aid in today’s environment.

My time in New Jersey alone provided considerable value, but I was also able to ‘top and tail’ my attendance at the Municipalities Conference with engagements in my role as Minister for International Development and chair of Jersey Overseas Aid (JOA).
July 15 2024. It is with profound sadness, as Chair of Jersey Overseas Aid (JOA), that I announce the death of the Executive Director, Simon Boas, following his courageous battle with cancer.
Apart from political unrest the one good thing recently was saving the Greve de Lecq café site from developers.
