I am very pleased to say that on it's 80th anniversary we have been successful in making Liberation Day Jersey's national day
Featured in the Island Identity project an unmissable short film about our island, the history, the people, and the culture.
In July some of the Grouville - PortBail Twinning Association Members travelled to France to join the 80th Anniversary of Liberation Celebrations in PortBail sur Mer.

Upon the recommendation of the Island Identity report the song “Beautiful Jersey” has been formalised as Jersey’s local anthem and in case you haven’t heard it, there are several versions available on the Gov.je website, but this one is fun!
